When this manuscript first came to me, I suggested structural edits to improve the narrative flow and add suspense. It was a page-turner that I knew would benefit from an early hook and increased urgency throughout. The author returned with excellent rewrites and I took it from there, giving the book a thorough edit from top to bottom. The final product is a compelling page turner.
